Cranbourne Royal Botanic Gardens

Every now and again I like to get out of my own backyard and explore the local offerings of nature. Recently I visited the very impressive collection of Australian natives at the Cranbourne Royal Botanic Gardens. I first explored these gardens over 8 years ago and since then they have grown exponentially.

Discovery of the day: The Eucalyptus Preissiana, I must have one of these in the future- what a superb blossom!
Disclaimer– I did attempt to take note of the names of the plants that caught my eye, and in turn photographed, but I often forgot. I am also horrendous at plant identification. So though I attempted to provide captions for the following images, there were many I failed to identify. Feel free to fill in the blanks.
